Over the past several years, we have been reducing the amount of plastic we use at the bakery. With the help of Oceanside Rubbish Inc we have implemented a compost and recycling program, we will reduce the amount of waste we contribute to landfills by nearly 80%. Just a few of the alternative and sustainable products we use here at Beach Pea are: hot and cold cups and lids made from corn, or flatware is made from potatoes, and all our paper products are made of Kraft paper—post consumer and non bleached.
